The only place to pick up rain collector barrels? I found this fish and tackle shop in Riverside that has rain collector barrels you can just pick up and carry. Once you have the collectors and sink/tub/etc in the spots you want have a Pipe Wrench in hand and impersonate Mario. Plumbing a sink In Project Zomboid with this method only 4 carpentry skill is required.. In IWBUMS/41.54 exactly this is mentioned to be possible. Metal Drums can be moved with the furniture tool - wich works. And water can poured into them - wich doesn´t work. Not sure if you are playing straight vanilla, but I use the “irrigation” mod that allows irrigation piping to connect all of my rain collectors together. That way there’s 1 sink below that draws from all of the collectors.
